Updated October 20, 2026. From Sober Living California, a free guide run by Design for Recovery. Listings are free.
We don’t list a sober living home in Hacienda Heights yet. The closest listed homes are just north in La Puente and a little farther in Covina, and several of them publish a monthly price.
Closest listed homes
Women: Room 2 Grow #2 in La Puente ($675 a month), and in Covina Room 2 Grow #1 ($675) and Puente House – Puente ($1,000).
Men: in Covina, Pathways 6, 8 and 9 ($800 a month each) and two Puente House homes ($1,000 each).
Farther east, Pomona has ten more listed homes, including women’s houses. All 22 San Gabriel Valley homes are on the San Gabriel Valley page.
Getting around
Hacienda Heights has no rail station. Covina has a Metrolink stop on the San Bernardino Line, and Foothill Transit buses serve the area, so ask each home how residents without a car get to work and meetings.
Questions to ask
Who manages the house? How does drug testing work, and what happens after a relapse? Is prescribed medication allowed? What does the rent include, and is any of it refundable? California does not license sober living homes, so these questions are your best check; our checklist has more. Homes in Hacienda Heights can be listed free; see our listing policy.
