Who runs this guide
Sober Living California is run by Design for Recovery, a men’s sober living program in Los Angeles. We built this guide because families searching for sober living deserve straight answers. Homes we run, and homes run by our sister program Bridges Sober Living Apartments, are labeled “Affiliated with this site.” Every other home is listed free.
How listings work
- Listings are free. We never charge homes for placement or leads, and we don’t accept referral fees.
- We list sober living homes, not treatment programs.
- We start from the Sober Living Network’s public member list, plus homes we check on their own websites.
- California doesn’t license sober living homes, so membership in a network like the Sober Living Network is the best public sign that a home meets set standards.
- Prices and openings change. Always confirm with the home before you go.
