Venice has three sober living homes in this guide, all for men: Advanced House, a Sober Living Network member, and Casa Vista and Living Now, two independent homes we checked on their own websites.
Venice and Westside prices
Only one of the three publishes a monthly price; ask the other two for their rent in writing and what it includes. Westside prices run far above the rest of the county: the homes there that publish prices list $1,760 to $6,000 a month, compared with about $800 county-wide.
Is Venice the right place for early recovery?
Some people want to stay near the beach, a job or family on the Westside; others find it easier to stay sober away from familiar places. If you are weighing the move, our guide to choosing a neighborhood compares the main areas of LA.
Venice: what people ask
Are there women’s homes in Venice? Not in this guide. Nearby, Marina del Rey lists one, and the Playa del Rey page lists one in Westchester (affiliated with this site); see all women’s homes on our women’s sober living page.

Who sober living tends to suit
Sober living can be a good fit for the people below. Some homes serve only men or only women, some are coed, and a few focus on young adults; each listing says who the home serves.
People who have finished detox or a treatment program and want structure before living alone
People stable enough to work, study or look for work
People who want to live with others who are also staying sober
Families looking for a drug-free home with house rules for someone they love
Looking at sober living options in Venice?
Venice’s listed homes are men’s homes, some at high rents. If you want to stay near the beach but need a lower price, compare Mar Vista and Westchester nearby, or look at the South Bay.
