Canyon living and recovery
A quiet canyon can feel appealing; it’s also worth thinking about how you’ll get to meetings, work and appointments. Homes in Woodland Hills or on the Westside are closer to those. If budget matters, the Westside and west Valley homes are some of the most expensive we list; our cost guide shows lower-priced areas.
Before you choose
California does not license sober living homes. Ask what a higher price includes, how drug testing works and what happens after a relapse; our checklist covers the rest. Run a home in Topanga? Listing is free; see our listing policy.
