Updated October 20, 2026. From Sober Living California, a free guide run by Design for Recovery. These listings come from the Sober Living Network member directory.
Laguna Hills has three listed sober living homes, all for men and all listed at $1,200 a month. They share one phone number and website, which usually means one operator running several houses. That can make it easier to move between houses if a bed opens up in another one.
Listed homes in Laguna Hills
Doghouse Sober Living: men, $1,200 a month.
Dog Castle: men, $1,200 a month.
Dog Palace Sober Living: men, $1,200 a month.
For women
The same operator lists two women’s homes a few miles away in Mission Viejo, Serenity Hill and Serenity House, each at $1,200 a month. Details are on the Mission Viejo page.
Living in south Orange County
Laguna Hills is mostly car-dependent. The nearest Metrolink stop is Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo, and OCTA buses run along the main roads. If you won’t have a car, ask each house how residents get to work and meetings.
Questions to ask
With one operator running all three homes, ask how the houses differ: number of residents per room, house manager on site, curfew and guest rules, drug testing, and what happens after a relapse. Get the rent and deposit terms in writing. Our checklist has more, and the Santa Ana page lists more Orange County homes. Homes in Laguna Hills can be listed free under our listing policy.

Families looking for a drug-free home with house rules for someone they love
Looking at sober living options in Laguna Hills?
Laguna Hills keeps men in south Orange County close to family and work, but all three listed homes share one operator, so your choice here is really one organization. If you want to compare different operators, look at Santa Ana or north to Long Beach and the rest of Los Angeles County.
