Updated October 17, 2026. Compiled by Sober Living California, a free directory run by Design for Recovery, from public listings. Homes run by Design for Recovery or Bridges Sober Living Apartments are labeled “Affiliated with this site” and are listed first.
Manhattan Beach sober living searches lead just outside the city for now, since nothing is listed inside it. The nearest homes we list are a short drive inland in Torrance and north toward LAX in Westchester and Playa del Rey.
To the north: Westchester and Playa del Rey
Three homes near LAX are listed on our Playa del Rey page: a men’s house in Playa del Rey run by Design for Recovery, and a women’s home and a coed home in Westchester run by Bridges Sober Living Apartments. All three are affiliated with this site, and all three ask you to call for rates.
To the southeast: Torrance
- Torrance: BHS – The Journey Back (men, $400 a month), Fred Brown’s Recovery Services (one men’s and one women’s home, $690 each) and Total Restoration Ministries (women, $650).
The South Bay and Harbor page lists 40 homes, most of them in San Pedro.
Manhattan Beach: transit, prices, listings
Is there a Metro rail stop near Manhattan Beach? The K Line’s Redondo Beach station on Marine Avenue is near the city’s eastern edge and runs north toward Inglewood and the Crenshaw corridor.
Why are South Bay prices so different? The Torrance homes list $400 to $690, while the homes near LAX ask you to call. Get every price and what it covers in writing; see what sober living costs in Los Angeles.
Can a Manhattan Beach home be listed? Yes, free. See our listing policy.
Not sure where to start? Call (424) 327-9081. This guide is run by Design for Recovery; we’ll help you compare options, including homes we don’t run. Listings are free, and we take no referral fees. Sober living is not treatment, and California does not license sober living homes. Our guides cover how to check a home, what sober living costs and how long people stay.
