Updated October 20, 2026. Sober Living California is a free directory run by Design for Recovery. It lists homes from public sources and never charges for a listing.
We don’t list any sober living homes inside Granada Hills yet. People searching from Granada Hills usually end up looking a few miles south in Reseda or east in San Fernando, where several homes publish who they take and what they charge.
Closest listed homes to Granada Hills
- Reseda: three homes. Fresh Start is a women’s home listed at $850 a month; 2nd Step Sober Living ($1,300) and Clear Skies Ranch – August House ($1,000) are men’s homes.
- San Fernando: Strive Sober Living, a coed home listed at $750 a month.
- Canoga Park: Cabrito Foundation, a men’s home listed at $800 a month.
That gives Granada Hills residents a women’s option, a coed option and men’s options nearby in the north Valley. Prices are what each home lists publicly; call to confirm what the rent covers and whether a bed is open.
Looking for a room in Reseda or Granada Hills?
Openings change week to week and we don’t track them. The fastest way to find an open bed is to call two or three of the homes above on the same day and ask what they have now. The San Fernando Valley page lists all 12 Valley homes in one place if the first calls come up empty.
Before you choose
California does not license sober living homes, so it’s on you to check. Ask who manages the house, how drug testing works, what happens after a relapse and whether prescribed medication is allowed. Our guide to checking a sober living home has the full list. If cost is the problem, read about free and county-funded beds.
